Rates
Initial Session - 75 minutes, $150
$120 per 50-minute session thereafter

Insurance
I am a provider for Medicare and for all BCBS of NC Insurance Plans which means you get a substantial rate reduction with BCBS coverage. You will need to determine what your out of pocket payment will be, but it is likely to be between $25 and $50 per session. With Medicare AND BCBS coverage, your out of pocket payment may be as low as $5-$10.

IMPORTANT!: Some BCBS plans contract out the coverage of mental health benefits to a diferent insurance company and my services may or may not be covered in full or in part by that health insurance or employee benefit plan.

  It is your responsiblity to check your coverage carefully. These questions will help you do so:

• Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
• What is my deductible and has it been met?
• How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
• Do I have in-network benefits only or can I get reimbursement if I see someone who is out-of-network?
• What is the coverage amount per therapy session in and out of network for: CPT Codes 90801 (Psych Eval for therapy); 90806 (Individual psychtherapy); and 90847 (Family/Marital Therapy)?
• if I am in individual therapy will my plan also cover concurrent Family Therapy?
• Is approval required from my primary care physician or do I need to get approval from you as my insuror before I begin outpatient psychotherapy?

Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis depending on your situation and my current availability of reduced fee appointment times.

Payment
Cash and check are accepted for payment.

Cancellation Policy
If you fail to keep your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
